Q: What is The Moonlight Sanctuary?
A. Moonlight Is a subculture room for Dark-minded, gothic and vampyric people. It is not a BDSM or S&M room, It is not a roleplaying room. It is a room for people into the lifestyle or consider themselves Different than other people and portray this image of themselves proudly. They either don't fit in with the Normal Society, Nor the Just Vampyric, Or the Just Gothic, Or the Just Roleplaying Community. This place was made as a haven for these people too come and Hang out in, Discuss things about the Community we are apart of, how we can help further it. Please do not come too Moonlight to be made a vampire, find a vampire cyber mate, find a "sire", or flame or haress We are people too, we have rights and feelings.
Q: Are you guys like Satanists, or devil-worshippers?
A: No, Are you? Gothic people may seem frightening, we like dark themes and things, do things that make people wonder, wear makeup or lead an alternative lifestyle, wear black clothes and trenchcoats, But we are apart of NO Hate mongering, Nor satanic cult, all you have seen has come from Movies like the Crow, Blair Witch, The Craft etc. And Others. We Don't drink the blood of babies or worship or hex people with magick potions and curses. We also don't worship or follow any path that features a Red-Hot skinned Devil with a pitchfork, pointed tail and Horns. Nor do we worship anyone named Baphomet. We Don't sustain a specific lifestyle too be cool..trendy or fit in. We do not do this or act a certain way too confuse or hurt our parents. Some of us Are WAY beyond our teenage years. This is why The Moonlight Sanctuary is for those 18+.
While we can not be sure if you are over the age, you acknowledge that If You enter the chatroom, these pages and the ezboard, that you are of sound thought and mind, and you are of the above age, or you have told a parent or guardian of your choices too enter this forum, and you do not now, nor will ever, hold this forum, room, pages or msg boards as liable for any ill treatment, you may or may not recieve, mental, or verbal abuse, or haressment.

Q: Why does it Say I CAN'T look for vampires or sexual partners if I want too?

This is a discussion area that does not recommend you look for love, or sex here. If you do so you will DO SO ONLY IN PRIVATE MESSAGES. (PM) BUT FIRST YOU MUST ASK PUBLICALLY IS IT OK IF YOU PM SOMEONE. WE come here too hang out and Chat and make friends, what ever happens from such friendships are the Consent between two people within that Issue. This is sort of like a Chatroom where you come too openly chat with people like you but not PROWL the room for Cyber Sex. I Understand that BDSM & S&M are considered Perks of the Dark Online Community, But I would rather you keep this out of This SPECIFIC Community Haven.

Do not come in and ask "would someone like to Fuck pm me now". Do Not come in with SUGGESTIVE handles Like "C*CKMASTER" Or "VampGirl/24/Bi/WET" Or "Bitemehorny" or something equally disgusting and suggestive. I realize that the first floor is adult, so PLEASE ACT LIKE ONE, Instead of a Horny Teen trying too get off. Its annoying when you are having a conversation and someone comes in and disrups the good friendly energies by wanting to cyber sex everyone's brain's out. Such Dark sex ideals makes SOME people nervous and Chathouse has other forums where this is the main staple thing.

A: This is a VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE FREEZONE. If you LIFESTYLE vampire the masquerade clans, like you go around saying irl "I am of the kindred, clan gangrel" DO NOT LIFESTYLE VTM CLANS HERE. Q: Do you really believe in vampires? Isn't that kind of wierd? Or, "you're just trendy, like everyone else!" *laughs* Or "will you make me a vampire, how are you one? what makes you one?"

Do I/We believe in Vampires? Two part answer, yes and no. I do not believe in the vampires of folklore, such as the translavianian mythos. Vampire legends exist in every Culture, but i do not believe in vampires that live in the graveyard, drink blood of the living and have become undead by dying who hold off rot and decay by drinking blood. Those who are Vampyric in subculture do not drink blood like that (OR AT ALL?!), do not burst into flames when they enter sunlight, and anyone can be killed by being burnt alive, beheading and staking. That's just nonsense.

Please use common decency and common sense. We can enter churches, pass by and hold crosses, bathe in holy water, wear silver and gold, read the bible, nor are we evil or possessed by demons. We do not have Fangs, unless we have fake ones and not all of us do, not all of us have bloodlust nor do all of us Cut People. Folklore does not apply too us. Am I am a Vampire? No I am not. I am an Empath, there is a slight difference. I can manipulate energies, I Can drain it and I can use it too heal people. I also sense people's thoughts, feelings and emotions. I believe in the psychic vampyre variety, if you don't, its cool. I never said you must believe or I am here too make believers out of all of you.

I do not take blood, but i have been involved in blood play. Psy's may do so and absorb the energy prana in the blood, we don't drink blood because "it tastes good". We don't eat children or kidnap babies, and we don't kill our parents. Thats just sick and morally wrong, not too mention stupid. WE RESPECT LIFE and do unto others as you have them do unto you.

The main thing is, is as I stated at the beginning. This is a Chatroom Haven for the Dark Minded, if you are, welcome within, if you have questions you may ask them.
